How does it work?
Our voting system is flexible to meet the unique needs of our customers, so the details may vary from client to client and from election to election. But all internet voting projects follow the same basic flow.
By utilizing our intuitive Election Manager, you’re able to define your election including the dates, times, and ballot questions. You also select a preferred voter authentication method and upload your list of eligible voters. For those needing assistance or in a time crunch, our responsive support team is available to guide you through the process or, as a premium service, manage the entire process on your behalf.
At your branded voting website, voters will login according to the authentication method chosen during set-up. Once authenticated, if they haven’t already voted, the voter is presented with a tamper-proof electronic ballot (or a choice of ballots, if there are several ongoing elections). Each vote is encrypted to ensure anonymity. A receipt is then issued to the voter, who cannot vote in the same election again.
Upon conclusion of the voting period, results are instantaneously tabulated. These can be swiftly reviewed in the Election Manager, alongside an array of reports on voting activities, prior to their release. After publication, the results are displayed publicly on your voting website, and for further transparency, anyone can verify the results by downloading a file containing the votes and corresponding receipt codes.
